ABOUT THE PROPERTY

This Snowdonia cottage property is the oldest on the Estate.

The largest and most spacious of our Snowdonia cottages.This double ended cottage of which there are only very few left in existence, dates to the 1600’s

Bedrooms:

The property sleeps six people in three spacious bedrooms.

Upstairs there are two large main bedrooms both with luxurious Somnus Superking size beds. High quality furnishings and soft decor and both are En-Suite with showers.

It’s third bedroom is a uniquely designed Garden Bedroom Suite that sleeps 2. It boasts a luxury Somnus King Size bed on the 1^st floor. A large En-Suite downstairs with a Boot Room reception area. It is accessed from the garden and offers total privacy and seclusion away from the main cottage. A wonderful setting with its own private entrance and views of Moelwyn Mawr

Both of the Superking beds in the main cottage feature the Zip and Link capability. These can be split to make twin rooms if requested.

All of the beds are Somnus by Harrison Spinks and have 14,000 pocket springs for the ultimate comfort and support.

High quality soft furnishings and bedroom furniture allow for ample storage during your stay.

Kitchen:

The superb Sheraton kitchen within the main cottage is very spacious and is equipped with oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dish washer and washer/dryer all by AEG. It also has a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and a wine cooler.

The large farm house dining table can seat 6 people very comfortably and is spacious enough to gather all the guests around it for an evening of board games and fun!

Lounge:

The spacious lounge has luxurious contemporary leather sofas. It’s antique furnishings combine contemporary with traditional beautifully to ensure pure comfort and luxury within this wonderful Snowdonia cottage.

Both the lounge and the kitchen have convenient under floor heating but also boast modern efficient log burners for that real fire feeling and added warmth.

Garden and outdoor entertaining area:

Outside in the private and beautifully landscaped garden, there is a jacuzzi spa for up to six people and two dining areas, one undercover for those moist Welsh days. Wonderful planting schemes, spacious garden entertaining areas and magnificent  view of Snowdonia mountains  allowing our guests to make the most of the outdoors.

Private Estate grounds:

As a guest you will have access to private paths around the estate, a mile and a half of dramatic river with waterfalls and natural pools, and there is also a public footpath to the village above the Estate.

The Estate is home to the Plas Meini Herd of rare breed Shetland Cattle, you may even see some of our ‘lawn mowers’ as they set to work with their Conservation Grazing duties! All our cattle have a permanent home in our fields and enjoy endless days of gentle grazing and roaming over 100 acres of this wonderful Upland Hill Farm setting.

Our Snowdonia Cottages are the perfect place for rest, relaxation and just enjoying the wonderful Welsh countryside. With easy access to  Portmeirion and Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife there is plenty to do before unwinding in your own hot tub amongst stunning mountain views, woodlands.
