The story

Plas Meini Estate is situated in the North of Wales in the Vale of Ffestiniog. The rental cottage dates back to the 1600s and is the oldest double ended cottage in Britain.

Only a few of these cottages are left in existence today, with the history behind the estate dating back to the bronze age.

With the estate being a farm beforehand many historical aspects come within it.  Such as the wars leading up to the construction of the house and who previously owned it.
